Snuggly Family Photos in McKinney

It’s that time of year! Time for a trip to Erwin Park for family photos! I have made a great effort to not overbook myself this year and I think, so far, I’m doing great! (This is the first shoot lol) Somehow, even planning for the family photos late in October, we were still sweating a little bit here in McKinney. 85 degrees. Whew!

This family photo shoot was so special to me. This is my third year shooting this sweet family’s photos. I have watched this girl go from a shy 3 year old to a confident, sassy big sister 5 year old and I could have cried. She’s now in kindergarten! Not to mention, she has some impeccable taste in princess clothing that she hands down to my daughter, so that’s another huge win! She was my little helper with test shots, posing, almost a full blown assistant. She wrangled her brother when we needed it, and she smiled looking RIGHT at the camera (something that might not have happened easily a few years back). I was so proud. Not to mention, she had just lost her first tooth! THAT’S BIG GIRL BUSINESS! Her brother didn’t mind stealing the show from time to time, and mom came locked and loaded with the marshmallow bribery when needed. What a pro.
