I met this mama back when our girls were merely months old! Hers wasn’t even crawling yet and mine had JUST started to crawl… BABIES! We met on the Peanut app. Have you guys used this genius thing!? It’slike an online dating app for stay-at-home moms to meet other moms! I missed the online dating era and it was so fun to swipe left and right on compatible mama friends! Especially since there wasn’t pressure for a wedding LOL! We met at a public place to confirm we both weren’t serial killers (Einstein Bagels to be exact) and the rest is history!
I went back to work full-time a year ago and getting together has been tougher to schedule. Work got CRAZY as we were delivering Scoob! so I was anxious for that project to be done so I could see my non-work friends again…. and then COVID! SO RUDE 2020!!! Plus, we were both pregnant and not wanting to risk it, so we played it safe at our homes.
Needless to say, this excuse to get together again was a blessing, and I’m so glad I got to document their early days with their new baby boy, Cohen. P.S. That name is freakin adorable right?! And a part of me thinks of the cute guy from The O.C. tv show, Seth Cohen. Played by Adam Brody. Anyone? Did I just age myself? Whatever. Trust me. Heart-throb. And Cohen will be one too.
